In the Social Security and Integration area, we examine questions relating to security in people’s lives, economic and social integration, along with the processes and risks of exclusion. The thematic focus is on social benefits and social insurance, client-orientated social work and on conditions and resources in the social context.

Age, Age Policy and Relations Between the Generations
The focus is here on questions of autonomous living and social participation for older people. Central themes are social networks, integration, elder care and older people in the workplace, which are all issues with potential future significance. We work very closely with the Gerontology competence centre in setting up and developing projects.
