Course summary
Rhythmics is a widely used method of musical teaching. It treats music and movement as a single entity. After decades of development, it has acquired an established position in general and special teaching. The use of improvisation and design promotes and links various areas such as sensory perception, movement, spatial orientation, the musical faculties, interaction, communication and self-expression.
Training in the pedagogy of music and movement comprises teaching, theoretical and artistic modules, together with others focusing on movement and music. The bachelor’s degree leads towards activities in various areas of music and movement teaching.
