
Visual Communication
Course summary
In the visual communication study course, students work on the planning, implementation and transmission of information in its visual form. On the basis of individual projects, they develop their own communication language and design stance.
The broad modular offer links theory and practical work in the studio. The course prepares students for professional activity which calls for designers with their own independent design style, an interdisciplinary working technique and networked knowledge. Students learn to take decisions, reflect on ideas, argue creatively and develop their own visual language.
The bachelor’s degree is a professional qualification. On completing the course, graduates typically work freelance or as employees in agencies and workshops.

The aim of the bachelor’s degree course in Visual Communication is the education and training of creative designers who, along with being able to achieve the concrete expression of information in pictorial form, are also aware of the processes attendant upon a task and are familiar with the professional environment.
