Information technology (information and communication technology, ICT) is used to make business and administrative processes simpler, faster, more economical and more reliable.

The Bachelor course focuses on the needs of companies and organisations. It has a modular format and an international orientation. It is taught partly in English.
Students with a qualification in business IT acquire the skills needed to analyse business processes, achieve appropriate IT solutions and manage ICT, or some parts of it, in a company or administration. They are well prepared for an interesting professional future with many opportunities at the intersection between business and technology.

Students of business information technology must take an interest in both worlds: the economy and business processes on the one hand, information technology on the other.

The job of business information technologists is to ensure that business units, customers and partners have the best possible support, thanks to the use of the ICT facilities that best match their needs. They design business and distribution models and contribute to the reorganisation and redesign of business processes. Together with management, specialists and staff, as well as technical support, they provide applications, services, systems and networks for needs-orientated data, information and knowledge management.
