Course summary
The Master’s degree programme in Art Education is a threefold artistic, academic and pedagogical degree for aspiring educators in art and design. It is aimed at students working in education and in a broad cultural field, who wish to combine design, artistic, technological, academic and educational activities. Students can also specialise in the areas of cultural communication, media-based communication, research or transdisciplinarity.

Perspectives
The Master’s degree programme qualifies graduates to teach the subject of Visual Art at secondary schools. It also enables graduates to communicate design and art to a broad audience and/or produce media-based educational offers. Thanks to their academic and art history knowledge, graduates can establish themselves in the broad field of the growing cultural sector, for example as curators, museum educators, studio directors, as well as in the fields of educational media, e-Learning, etc. The degree allows graduates to enrol in a PhD programme.
