Master of Arts in Communication Design

Course summary

The Master’s degree programme in Communication Design trains designers to develop communications solutions to complex problems with confidence.

Communication design analyses, shapes and manages complex communication processes. Visual and non-visual forms of communication are combined, and classical visual communication are supplemented with transdisciplinary design and research methods. Communication design is used everywhere where information reaches an audience: in the design and conception of exhibitions, in signage, in book or newspaper publishing houses or printing houses, in the leisure and tourism industry and in city marketing. Students develop their own individual profile in a study environment that combines practice, theory and research. As a result, a broad, complex and demanding career field in design is opened up to them.
