Master of Science in Engineering
Course summary
The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) is a degree programme developed jointly by the Swiss universities of applied sciences that allows students to build upon the Bachelor of Science in Engineering and specialise in the area of engineering and information technology. Research is carried out within particular areas of emphasis and is organised into master research units. These units do their research on interdisciplinary lines and encompass several specialised research groups, which are all focused on one research field.
This is where students undertake their specialist training. The course covers both theory (technical-scientific modules and theoretical principles) and context (management, communication and culture) modules; it also comprises a professional specialisation, which includes the Master thesis.
