Course summary
With the Master of Science in Life Sciences the Swiss College of Agriculture SHL offers a unique training programme in the field of applied agricultural and forestry sciences.
The Master’s degree programme focuses on the knowledge and skills associated with a special topic; these are further developed in the Master thesis, which is a grounded, practice-orientated research project. In line with the research topic and emphasis chosen, students use their own approaches and methods to investigate scientific, economic, social and political questions in the areas of agriculture, forestry, the processing and trade of food and wood products, resource management, environmental change, sustainability and development.
