Our projects help us to contribute to positive change in developing countries and emerging economies. Working with our partners, we aim to find practical solutions to problems in the wood and construction industries. By sharing our knowledge and technology and providing vocational training and continuing education courses, we make sure these solutions make it back to the wood and construction industries. Whenever possible and feasible, we involve teaching staff, researchers and students from Bern University of Applied Sciences.
Research + Development
We create customised packages for government bodies, development organisations, foundations and commercial enterprises. These packages include:
Applied research and development projects on behalf of an economic partner
Consultancy, studies and expertise related to international cooperation
Planning, running and supervising international cooperation projects
Training + Continuing education
We have strong links to teaching and continuing education. As a result, we are able to provide students with intercultural skills and advise them on international cooperation projects.
We give students the chance to complete internships in international cooperation projects or incorporate our Master’s students into our in-house projects.
