New Expertise in Digital Responsibility and Digital Innovation & Entrepreneurship

02.09.2025 The IDTM team continues to grow. Sanja Tumbas and Henriette Blom are joining the institute, and their expertise in digital responsibility and digital innovation and entrepreneurship will further advance research in these key areas.

Their addition will enable us to broaden our interdisciplinary perspective, particularly in acquiring and implementing Europe-wide research projects, such as DIRECT (Digital Responsibility in Education and Training).

I aim to build and nurture impactful projects that achieve international visibility and attract competitive funding.

What makes me laugh?

Silly dance moves never fail to make me smile.

What sustainability means to me:

For me, sustainability means developing projects that are not only impactful in the short term but also designed to endure and evolve over time.

Henriette Blom

What appeals to me about my new position?

Exploring digital responsibility across different sectors excites me. I can connect this with my background in health and digitalization. Also, I find it appealing to work on a project that combines academic depth with practical relevance.

These are my research topics and interests:

I am interested in research within the field of information systems. I am focusing on the question, how digital technologies influence people and how we interact with them. Can we design and use technology in ways that are ethical, sustainable, and human-centered?

What I want to achieve at BFH Business:

My goal is to further develop my research, build strong collaborations, and contribute to bridging the gap between theory and practice, while also continuing to grow personally and professionally.

What makes me laugh?

I laugh most at everyday absurdities, witty humor, and those perfectly timed jokes or memes that capture real-life situations in a funny way.

What sustainability means to me:

To me, sustainability means thinking beyond the present and considering the wider impact of our actions - on nature, society, and the future.
