David Matchar is the Inaugural Director of the Signature Programme in Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR) at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. He is also Professor
of Medicine at Duke University in the United States. David Matchar has worked in clinical research for over 35 years; his work primarily relates to stroke and other chronically disabling neurological disorders, as well as clinical and public policy analysis.
John Ansah is an Assistant Professor in the Signature Programme in Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR) at Duke-NUS Medical School and a faculty fellow at Residential College 4 at National University of Singapore. He is an expert in systems science methods and has over 10 years experience in the application of simulation modeling to complex health policy issues. Currently, his work relates to long-term care needs, resilience and hip fracture recovery, and enhanced primary care for an ageing society amongst others.
