Jochen Schellinger appointed new Vice-President Teaching

05.07.2021 Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) has chosen Professor Jochen Schellinger to be the new Vice-President Teaching. He holds a doctorate in economics and will take up his new post on 1 January 2022.

After a thorough selection process, the University Board of Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) has chosen Jochen Schellinger to be the new Vice-President Teaching.

The 54-year-old has worked in various leadership positions over the past 13 years at BFH, including as a lecturer and director of the Business Administration master’s degree programme, as Quality Management Officer in the Business School and as President of the Quality Development Committee. He has an outstanding track record in the development and leadership of degree programmes and university partnerships as well as management experience working for an international corporation.

Jochen Schellinger has a comprehensive understanding of the overall conditions and situation at BFH and is highly qualified to play an active role in shaping the university’s future development. He will take up his new role on 1 January 2022 and is looking forward to this new challenge.
