Adrian Wildenauer becomes professor for digital building
28.06.2023
“Shape digital transformation rather than manage it!” Adrian Wildenauer abides by that motto.
As of 1 July 2023, he will join the team of the Institute for Digital Economy in the Construction and Wood Industry IdBH.
The digital transformation of the construction industry is gaining in significance due to the high complexity of real estate and infrastructure construction. For Adrian Wildenauer, digital construction means dealing with sustainable changes, recognising the need for meaningful action and implementing individual optimisations. He sees this as the future viability of the architects, wood engineers and civil engineers.
As a civil engineer with a doctorate in applied computer science and statistics, he has extensive experience in teaching and continuing education at BFH-AHB and other Swiss universities. He is also head of BIM standardisation and industry activities in the BIM@SBB programme of the Swiss Federal Railways. In this role, he is in charge of carrying forward the six-point plan for the digital transformation of the building sector.
Adrian Wildenauer will help strengthen our competencies to actively shape digital transformation in the construction industry. We look forward to working with him.
