Steps to success!

26.07.2023 The HAFL Hugo P. Cecchini Institute ‘Snakes and Ladders on the way to Agroecology’ project in Tanzania and India has come to a successful close.

In this short video, project leader Prof. Gurbir S Bhullar from BFH-HAFL explains the board game and highlights the positive impact it's had on smallholder farming communities.

The project, which ran from December 2021 to May 2023, is part of the The Innovation Challenge 2021, conducted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH global project “Agricultural Policy and Innovation Fund (FABI)”. FABI is the forerunner of the “Fund for the Promotion of Innovation in Agriculture (i4Ag)”. Both are commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
