On March 3, 2025, the third edition of the Talent Pitch Contest, involving 13 Swiss universities, took place in Zurich. This event aims to showcase the innovative potential of students and motivate them to pursue and develop their entrepreneurial ideas. BFH supports this initiative and participated this year with the start-up “early Motion” by Simon Gamero Schertenleib and Patrick von Raumer.

With “early Motion,” they developed an approach to promote the physical mobilization of bedridden hospital patients and support their rehabilitation process. Their device, the “Impala Reha-Press,” aims to prevent or reduce complications caused by prolonged bed rest, which is particularly common among intensive care patients. This rehabilitation device has the potential to effectively complement physiotherapy and accelerate the recovery of patients with limited mobility.
