Center for Development and Cooperation

BFH has been involved in international cooperation in developing and emerging countries for many years. The Center for Development and Cooperation CDC, founded in 2004 at the School of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering, became independent in 2022 as CDC Global and is now managed as a spin-off.

Expertise

Led by Prof. Markus Schär, the spin-off remains closely associated with BFH. In this way, the competencies of BFH-AHB can continue to flow into international cooperation, and students and employees can continue to work on interesting themes and get involved. This makes it possible to continue conveying the realities and challenges faced by low and middle income countries.
