  • Stefan Rose stands as a bridge between the realms of psychology and marketing, illuminating the intricate connections that drive consumer behavior.

    Stefan commenced his academic journey at Maastricht University, where he immersed himself in the study of Psychology. His quest to comprehend the depths of human cognition and behavior laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Subsequently, he transitioned into the private sector as a market researcher. His roles encompassed the conecptualization, analysis and orchestration of comprehensive market research projects catering to an array of industries including automotive, pharmaceuticals, services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and media.

    Merging his background in psychology with marketing acumen, he joined the Chair of Marketing at RWTH Aachen University as a doctoral candidate in 2015 . After receiving his PhD, he became a Research Professor for Marketing at Bern University of Applied Sciences in 2021.

    Stefan research is characterized by a distinctive interdisciplinary approach. At the heart of his research lies a profound dedication to the psychological intricacies of consumer behavior. His work on sustainable consumption sheds light on the potential for positive change, while his exploration of AI-driven interactions anticipates the evolving dynamics between humans and technology. Morover, his research interests include marketing initiatives for start-ups and how face-to-trait inferences influence behavior and decision makeing.
