Cultural diversity at work (BID0232)
How do you deal with cultural diversity in a professional context? In this module you will discuss with guest speakers from diverse fields and coming from or working in different countries. You will be introduced to the concept of culture and reflect on cultural backgrounds, mutual perceptions and intercultural situations in a professional context.
You will analyze and reflect on cultural backgrounds, mutual perceptions, relationships and intercultural situations in a professional context
You learn to think in a broader cultural context
You deepen your own awareness and empathy for cultural differences and commonalities
You use the acquired knowledge and experience to strengthen your transcultural competences
This module is creditable towards the Certificate of Global Competence (CGC) (15 portfolio points).
