AXS-Authentication and Transaction Security System for e-Business and e-Gouvernement

Electronic commerce and online transactions are developing rapidly, making a significant part of global economy dependent on a secure and trustful internet. We develop the necessary passport for it.

Contexte initial

The project consist of the development of a personal token with the shape of a credit card. The token can read an encrypted message from any Internet connected computer screen. To have access to the message the user has to authenticate himself to the token using the integrated fingerprint recognition system. Once authenticated the token shows the user the message on a small internal display.

But

Development of an secure communication device for the hedging of internet transaction of any kind. The device shall work anywhere and anytime without the installation of local software.

Résultat

In collaboration with the spin-off company AXSionics first authentication and transaction security systems for E-business applications have been developped. These systems are now tested in first field applications.

Perspectives

The technology has application potential for the online-banking, Internet authentication, logistics, health care and many other fields with enhanced security requests for authentication or for transaction integrity.
