Contexte initial

The aim of this project is to optimise the laser head of a Computer Assisted Robot-guided Laser Osteotome (CARLO) for contact free bone ablation by integration of a dedicated OCT System. The cutting depth is controlled by the OCT System in real time. Laser osteotomy is the treatment of bone tissue using laser systems instead of mechanical tools such as saws, drills, and diamond discs.
