Contexte initial

A Sanner-less Optical Coherence Tomography OCT system will be developed for integration in standard Laser Retina Therapy systems allowing real time control of the achieved tissue changes. This OCT feedback carries supplementary information about lesions in sub-surface regions not visible by standard examinations. Especially for Selective Retina Therapy SRT where only sub-surface regions are treated, this technique enables new minimal invasive treatment strategies.
