Operation Room Interactive Surgery Workflow Simulation

The project's goal is to develop a Virtual Reality software framework for the pre-operative simulation of the man-machine interaction workflow within an operation room during a surgical intervention.

Contexte initial

The project will be conducted in collaboration with researchers of the University Hospitals of Basel and Zurich. It's goal is to develop a VR software framework for the pre-operative simulation of the man-machine interaction workflow within an operation room during a surgical intervention. The use of the BFH-TI Virtual Reality CAVE laboratory will provide a life size 3D stereoscopic operation room visualization for realistic interactive workflow simulation and optimization.
