Contexte initial

To enhance the export performance of Ghana, by creating conditions for strengthening supply capacities in selected agriculture and industry branches, establishing a credible conformity assessment infrastructure and fostering integration into the multilateral trading system, while at the same time strengthening local consumer protection.

But

- Upgrade the test lab at CSIR-FORIG to ISO 17025. - Promote the test lab to stakeholders of the Ghanaian wood industry and boost the export and use of wood prod.. - Set up a national techn. committee for standards for the wood industry.
