Contexte initial

The public bulletin board is a key component of a verifiable voting system. As the name suggests, it is visible to all, for example in form of a web site. In the context of electronic voting, the public bulletin board can be compared to a transparent urn in a traditional polling station, which allows observing the voting process. Transferring the properties of a (physical) transparent urn to an (electronic) public bulletin board is a very complex problem.


The focus of the project will lie on the implementation of a secure public bulletin board and on decoupling it from a concrete voting application. The goal is to systematically investigate all sorts of properties such a board may offer.
