researchXchange – the seminar series on research at the Bern University of Applied Sciences Department of Engineering and Information Technology (BFH-TI). Selected internal and external speakers present their topics in an informal setting that allows room for discussion.
The main aim of the event is to improve interaction and the exchange of information between members of the institutes of Bern University of Applied Sciences as well as with cooperation partners from industry and other research institutions. It also provides those working on projects (including at master’s level) with the opportunity to present their research work in an informal setting.
The in-depth insight into research topics aims to provide inspiration for participants’ own research work and lecturing and to highlight opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. We look forward to your visit and lively debate.
The seminars are aimed at lecturers, research associates, assistants and students of the BFH-TI, and are also open to an external audience with an interest in science.
They will be held on Fridays during the semester from 12.00p.m. to 12.45p.m., alternating between the BFH-TI sites in Biel and Burgdorf.
You can also participate online. The seminars will be broadcast live.
A sandwich and a drink will be provided for anyone who registers by midday on the Thursday before the seminar at the latest.
