Promoting agroecological transformation in the hills of Cotabato, Philippines

This project continues our work in North Cotabato, Philippines. The PPP-funded 'Going Bananas' project showed strong results. Motivated by its success, partners plan to scale up agroecosystem change, and this project supports that.

Ausgangslage

This project is a continuation of our project activities in north-Cotabato region of the Philippines. The main project (‘going bananas’ initiative), was financial supported by the Dutch Government through a public-private partnership (PPP). The project progressed well, and made several achievements. Inspired by the success of the project, the stakeholders and farmers are motivated to continue and scale-up the process of agroecosystem transformation. This project offers a partial support to continue that. It shall help to consolidate our project activities and contribute to securing resources necessary for scaling-up.
