"Creating Connections – Midwifery Between Hands-on Practice and High Tech” is the theme of the new Swiss Obstetrics Forum, held for the first time jointly by the Departments of Health of Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) and the School of Health Science at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).

The conference focuses on topics such as digitalizations and innovative models of peripartum care. The title represents the connection between obstetric expertise, technological innovation, and the new collaborative partnership between the two universities.

Call for Abstracts

Are you working in your professional practice, studies, or research on a topic you would like to present at the Swiss Obstetrics Forum? If so, we warmly invite you to share your work with an interprofessional audience.

We welcome the submission of an abstract for a short presentation in the Parallel Sessions. Information on formal requirements, as well as the submission form, will be available with registration in spring 2026. If you have any questions or would like to discuss an idea in advance, please feel free to contact us at obstetrics-forum@bfh.ch

All abstracts will be reviewed by a selection committee. You will be notified of acceptance in due time; selected contributions will be presented as short presentations in the Parallel Sessions. Further details will be provided with the acceptance confirmation.
