The Swiss PPIE Network invites you to the 3rd Swiss PPIE Network Symposium 2026: Shaping Action Together, taking place in Bern on 21 November 2026. The event is aimed at PPIE experts, patients and carers, members of the public, researchers, policymakers, representatives of patient organisations, and anyone interested in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE).

This annual symposium provides an interactive space for exchange and active participation. Through interactive workshops, participants will reflect on the current state of PPIE, identify priorities and help shape the future direction of the Swiss PPIE Network. They will share knowledge and experiences and discuss innovative approaches to PPIE in Switzerland.

PPIE is becoming increasingly important. The symposium therefore aims to strengthen exchange and collaboration between the public and representatives of public authorities and institutions. The goal is to better integrate society’s perspectives, needs and concerns into healthcare, research and health policy.
