The Swiss Research Network – Healthy Nutrition (SRN-HN) has the mission to bundle and strengthen nutrition research in Switzerland. Our 2nd Forum focusses on the topic of nutrition-related prevention. Nutrition-related prevention is a cornerstone of population health, yet its role within healthcare systems and public policy often remains under-recognized. The event should bring together researchers, healthcare and public health professionals, policymakers and funders to explore the current landscape of nutrition prevention and identify opportunities for greater impact.

The event will examine existing initiatives, emerging priorities, and unmet needs in nutrition-related prevention across Switzerland. Particular attention will be given to the economic value of investing in prevention, highlighting the potential health and economic returns of evidence-based approaches.

Designed as an interactive forum for dialogue and exchange, the event aims to strengthen connections across sectors and foster new collaborations. Participants will have the opportunity to share perspectives, connect and contribute to shaping a common agenda for action.

A key outcome of the meeting will be the development of a publication outlining priority research and implementation actions for nutrition-related prevention in Switzerland. By engaging diverse stakeholders, the event seeks to support a stronger, more coordinated approach to prevention and promote long-term population health.
