The project is an answer to slow-tourism of the wider area of Interlaken airport.

The mountains landscape gives the natural perception of successive plans showing less and less, blending them naturally into the sky or contrastingly cutting them off from the purity of the sky. An absolute non-detail perception of the basic forms in relations in-between them. The rapid development process makes people build more and more trying to meet expectations. What is the right direction of this unstoppable race? How to save things that created places? How not to hide mountains in the mountains? The Metropol hotel is an unequivocal answer for it. A skyscraper is an unquestionable example of a dense building that serves more people. Modernism monument gives people a place for its action and uses its aesthetic tools contradicting today’s trends and general rules of the local respect. How to build bigger and higher being as neutral as possible, respecting the landscape, and continuing the tradition of the very first background of the mountains done with architecture.
