Sustainable public management: instruments & processes

Play an active role in shaping sustainable development in the public sector – with the right tools, processes and perspectives for the future.

In the SAS «Sustainable Public Management: Tools & Processes», you will learn about key tools for effectively implementing sustainability in line with Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. Experienced experts will show you how to make targeted use of instruments such as sustainability strategies and assessments, as well as management, controlling and monitoring systems. You will reflect on the possible applications in your organisation and exchange ideas with other experts on an equal footing. You will also learn which «procedural levers» you can pull to anchor sustainability transversally in your organisation.

  • You will receive tried-and-tested tools for implementing sustainability in the public sector.
  • You will learn about decision-making processes and levers for promoting sustainable action.
  • You will develop, implement and manage strategies and projects that have a long-term impact.
  • You will think across departments and communicate convincingly – within the administration and with external partners.
