Applied Machine Learning Days

09.03.2022 Members of the Applied Machine Intelligence research group at BFH are organizing a conference track at the well-known AI conference Applied Machine Learning Days AMLD 2022, March 26-30, in Lausanne. The topic of the track is applied natural language processing (NLP) to the field of physical and mental health, a key research direction of the AMI.

Applied Machine Learning Days

The Applied Machine Learning Days is one of the largest machine learning & AI event in Europe, focused specifically on the applications of machine learning and AI. The event reunites 2000+ leaders, experts and enthusiasts within the field coming from academia, industry, startups, NGOs and government from over 41+ countries.

Innovative technologies from the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) enable augmented intelligence applications in the field of health and psychology. The track proposed by AMI at AMLD 2022 explores solutions from practice that already employ such technologies, or promising approaches from research targeting the application in practice, with the goal of bridging the gap between natural language processing technology research and the clinical environments. The track aims to connect researchers, practitioners and start-ups interested in this area and discuss the current state-of-the-art of (applied) research and applications in the field.
