My practice is open, integral and focused on the intuitive aspects: Tactile and Narrative. During my first training as a precision mechanic I discovered my fascination for the tactile. Spaces calibrated to the size and proportions of the human body allow an intuitive relationship with architecture. "Does your house fit your body?" The tactile aspect of architecture generates a communication between the user and the building that consequently gives it a narrative aspect. As an example one could think of a corridor suddenly becomes the chapter of a story that links the different rooms together. The various elements are bound by a storyline that resonates with the history of the place, the traditions and the wishes and the habits of the inhabitants. All the elements have their place within the assembly, functioning as a machine.

Moreover, the approach of the space through the narrative allows to shift our perception and brings another reading of our field of action. Spaces not perceived as such or drifting from their primary meaning become the raw material of projects.

I am an architect based in Zurich and Fribourg. Since 2019, I have been working on various projects in different constellations in Switzerland and abroad. Active in a wide spectrum of the construction field, tactile and narrative come to redefine the norms and use values of architecture. Aware of the current geopolitical stakes, the Rs-Cascade (10 R's towards a circular economy) and cradle-to-cradle are now part of the drivers of my practice. Projects span between small to large scale such as everyday objects, houses, public buildings, redefinition of processes impacting cities, diversification/integration of actors and users. With my constructive, positive and critical opinion, I am part of the ZAS* collective.
