Research at the SFISM

The Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglingen SFISM carries out applied research and development projects in the field of sports science. The research and development activities are tailored to the needs of the Swiss sports system and play an essential role in strengthening the social standing of sport.

Findings from research and development feed into continuing education and training and into services for the national youth and elite sports programmes, optimally aligned to the needs of the target groups. 

The association agreement which BFH and SFISM have signed underlines their intention to collaborate on research. This is manifested in the BFH Centre Health Technologies.
