CV

  • I am interested in soil and landscape evolution, specifically in soil formation, soil parent materials, soil distribution and soil functions. I have investigated loess-paleosol sequences in Central Europe and Central Asia and worked on soil formation in Central Europe and the Central Tropics. Currently, I am working on soil mapping and sustainable land use and aim to raise public awareness on the multifunctionality of soil as slowly developing limited ressource.
