Co-developed a secure authentication protocol integrating a FIDO2 authenticator into the SwissPass ecosystem in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). The protocol enables simple and secure authentication using NFC-based interaction while eliminating the need for prior user registration, reducing operational costs for service providers. The work was awarded the ISSS Excellence Award by the Swiss Information Security Society, selected by a national jury of ICT security experts and universities (CHF 4,000 prize).
