Fundamentals of Psychology

What are the fundamentals of human behaviour? How does social interaction work, and what do terms such as ‘identity’ or ‘self-image’ actually mean? This SAS explains it all.

The SAS covers key psychological principles relating to thinking, feeling and behaviour. It also addresses personality, social interaction, communication and resilience. The aim is for you to develop a sound basic understanding of effective working practices, collaboration, decision-making processes and behavioural change. Mental stress and resilience in professional and marketing contexts round off this course.

  • You will acquire fundamental knowledge of personality psychology.
  • You will explore practical concepts such as ‘roles’.
  • You will develop an understanding of the psychological principles underlying group dynamics and team composition.
  • You will gain a basic understanding of decision-making psychology and ‘behavioural change’.

The course can be attended individually or credited to the CAS in Marketing Psychology. In order for the course to be credited towards this CAS, the proof of competence must be completed successfully.
