OPENING EVENT FOR CHANCE Founding Event of the “Chance” Support Association for Music and Theatre Students at HKB

Due to the substantial increase in tuition fees compared to other Swiss universities, lecturers, students, and staff members from HKB’s Music and Theatre departments, together with other private supporters, founded the association Chance on 13 May 2026. We would like to celebrate this occasion with music, theatre, and an apéro generously sponsored by a private donor, while also welcoming as many members and supporters as possible. With your support, we hope to ensure that our students continue to have fair access to studying music or theatre in Bern, and that the Swiss capital can continue to live up to its cultural significance.

Featuring works by Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Eugène Bozza, and Ernst Jandl.
