Cut through the noise and discover how Generative AI can deliver real value for your organization. At the BFH Business Breakfast, experts and practitioners showcase how purposeful, human-centered AI approaches create measurable impact without unnecessary complexity. 

Marcel Gygli demonstrates a proof-of-concept using GenAI to pre-screen building permit applications by identifying relevant departments and assisting in editing their statements. 

Jürgen Vogel presents a case study on an AI chatbot using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to analyze MES downtime. By turning internal data into actionable insights, it improves efficiency, reduces costs, and enhances transparency in smart manufacturing.

Panel and Networking

The panel discussion focuses entirely on exchanging experiences and networking. Insights from four business representatives will provide great starting points for engaging coffee conversations.

Workshops

Following the event, two workshops offering an opportunity to dive deeper into the topic will be held. Each workshop is limited to 20 participants and requires prior registration. There is also the option to join a 20-minute SIPBB tour.

Prof. Dr. Marcel Gygli is Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector. His research focuses on how AI applications can be developed and implemented safely and effectively. 

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Vogel has been teaching and conducting research at the Bern University of Applied Sciences for over a decade, specializing in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Text Analytics. His work bridges academia and industry, focusing on practical, AI-driven solutions for startups, industrial partners, and public institutions.
