Start Winter School with African PhD students

23.01.2024 For the first time, our department is organising a winter school with PhD students from Africa and Europe. Director Ingrid Kissling-Näf and Head of Research Sebastian Gurtner gave the starting signal.

Innovation & Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development is the core topic of the 1st Winter School on our campus. PhD students from African (Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Rwanda) and European (Estonia, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Lithuania, UK, Poland) countries were welcomed by Director Ingrid Kissling-Näf and Head of Research Sebastian Gurtner. This week, they will be discussing innovation and entrepreneurship for sustainable development.

At the same time, a workshop will take place in which they will discuss the research agenda for sustainable development in Africa.

We wish all participants an inspiring and productive exchange.
