BFH Summer School on Inter- and Transculturality

06.03.2019 The International Relations Office of Bern University of Applied Sciences is running a five-day summer school, which is open to both BFH students and students from foreign partner institutions. The programme is worth 2 ECTS (60 hours of study) and can be credited to the BFH Certificate of Global Competence.

The summer school will take place from 2 to 6 September 2019 in Bern. The interprofessional, highly interactive lessons will focus on developing participants’ understanding of their own values and culture. Intercultural sensitivity as the basis for respectful and efficient communication will be fostered. Interested students can register as of today.

The Certificate of Global Competence offers students the opportunity to acquire additional intercultural and transcultural skills as part of their regular studies – and to provide evidence of this to future employers. The certificate provides excellent preparation for a professional future in an international context.
