Diversity at Work: Navigating in Real Work Situations (BID0232)

How do you deal with cultural diversity in a professional context? In this module you will discuss with guest speakers from diverse fields and coming from or working in different countries about their experiences. You will be introduced to the concept of culture and reflect on cultural backgrounds, transculturality, intersectionality, as well as mutual perceptions in a professional context.

  • You will analyze and reflect on cultural backgrounds, mutual perceptions, relationships and intercultural situations in a professional context

  • You learn to think in a broader cultural context

  • You deepen your own awareness and empathy for cultural differences and commonalities

  • You use the acquired knowledge and experience to strengthen your transcultural competences
