Our BSc programme prepares you for all professional fields of social work. Put what you learn into practice and develop your personal and social skills.
This degree programme:

provides a general qualification for a profession in social work, social education or sociocultural animation;

includes a Development Centre that records your personal development opportunities, and coaching sessions that promote your personal and social skills;

helps you build your own career profile by allowing plenty of choices with regard to the practical and compulsory-elective modules and the bachelor’s thesis;

includes two practical modules (each lasting 5 to 12 months, depending on your contract of employment) that allow you to put the methods and techniques you have learned into practice in a real-life context and reflect on the results;

works with a range of modern didactic approaches: from group work to e-learning and exercises in the virtual reality lab;

encourages the development of intercultural skills with foreign language modules, a semester/internship abroad, study trips and a Certificate of Global Competence;

allows flexible study and delivers reliable scheduling for full-time and part-time students.
