  • Patrick Düblin is an urban researcher, art historian, and mediator of spatial practices. His work spans art, architecture, and urbanism, with a focus on walking-based research, participatory practice, and critical studies of the built environment. He studied art history and philosophy at the University of Basel and Free University of Berlin. In 2023, he received his PhD from ETH Zurich for research on the performative and socially engaged spatial practices of the Italian collective Stalker.

    Düblin has taught at ETH Zurich, co-edited several books, and co-curated exhibitions at Kunstmuseum Basel and the Istituto Svizzero in Rome, where he was a research fellow. He is currently developing a master’s programme in urban resilience at Bern University of Applied Sciences. In 2025, he established the Office for Peripatetic Design, an independent practice for critical, public urban explorations.
