World Café and Follow-up-Workshops: Shaping a Sustainable Digital World

Between December 2020 and March 2021, online follow-up-workshops to the event "Shaping a sustainable digital world" on May 8 will take place, in which participants have developed ideas on how to shape a sustainable digital world. The follow-up-workshops will each focus on one topic area. The workshops are open to all interested parties and aim at project development, team building and the identification of financing possibilities. They will take the form of World Cafés and project-related group workshops.

02.12.2020 until 10.03.2021 – The events took place online from December 2020 to March 2021

The starting point

Against the background of the megatrends digitization and climate change, the BFH had been commissioned by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) to investigate the opportunities and challenges that arise in connection with digitization in the environmental sector and what action needs to be taken. The results of this study have given rise to a campaign on the topic of "Shaping a Sustainable Digital World", whose highlight so far has been the virtual Policy-Kitchen workshop on May 8, 2020 (find everything on the workshop here).

The series of workshops

The project ideas developed in the workshop of 8 May 2020 will now be built on in several follow-up-workshops to be held between December 2020 and March 2021. The workshops are open to all interested parties and aim at project development, team building and the identification of financing opportunities. The workshops take the form of World Cafés and project-related group workshops.
