Bern universities: the future is now!

08.11.2021 Time is running out. There are only nine years left in which to achieve the UN’s 2030 Agenda. What does this mean for the Bern universities? How will they make use of this time? On the joint Sustainability Day on 5 November 2021, the University of Bern, Bern University of Applied Sciences and Bern University of Teacher Education presented the impressive range of concrete measures they are taking to contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals – and discussed where more action still needs to be taken.

Overview: 2021 Sustainability Day

The 2021 Sustainability Day held by the three Bern universities took place on 5 November 2021 on the vonRoll site at Fabrikstrasse 6/8 in Bern. The motto of the event was ‘The future is now!’. You can find more information and an overview of the 2021 Sustainability Day here:

AHB Awards for sustainable development

At the Sustainability Day, BFH’s Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering department presented the AHB Awards for sustainable development. They are awarded to student projects that stand out for their in-depth focus on the topic of sustainability.
