Participatory Action Research for Social Inclusion (BSS1203.62)

This module focuses on participatory action research (PAR), an approach that emphasizes the participation and action of community members. It seeks to understand the world by trying to change it, and it does so collaboratively and after a period of reflection. Students will learn how to find new innovative solutions based on PAR, in collaboration with various actors. The aim is to develop together a project to strengthen communities and promote inclusion.
The program will combine theory and practice. Students will gain insights into ongoing or recently completed PAR projects in the fields of social work and health.
