Award for the startup legal-i
29.10.2021 The startup legal-i, which has developed a virtual research assistant in cooperation with the Applied Machine Intelligence research group at Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH, was named the most innovative startup in the InsurTech sector in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The entirely manual research work of personal injury experts in law firms and insurance companies may soon be a thing of the past. With an AI-based research assistant developed by the Bern-based startup legal-i, data and information on cases can be linked to and sorted more quickly. This frees up a lot of time for the experts to do other work and cases can be processed more quickly overall, which is an important aspect in relation to personal injury in particular. The significance of this innovation has now also been recognised by the industry: at the insurance trade show Claims Management & Assistance 2021 in Leipzig, the founders of legal-i were delighted to receive the “Claims Rockstar Award” as the most innovative and promising InsurTech startup in the DACH region.
