Stefan Jack, who was most recently Business and Solutions Development Manager at Güdel, has been a guest lecturer at Bern University of Applied Sciences since 2020. Over the past six years at Güdel, he has been able to build up a great deal of expertise in the data handling of highly automated element construction systems. The focus of his work was on wood as a building material. He was also involved in an industry-ready pilot project in timber construction. He is not only at home in the fields of digitalisation, requirements engineering and smart factory, but also has experience as a Scrum Master and Lean Development Coach.

He supports the Institute for Digital Economy in the Construction and Wood Industry (IdBH) in research and development and will teach the subjects of product structure, timber processing machinery and manufacturing technology in the Bachelor of Science in Wood Technology. In the Master of Science in Wood Technology degree programme, he is responsible for the case study in the specialisation Management of Processes and Innovation MPI. He will continue to teach at the Higher Technical School – as he did earlier as a guest lecturer – in plant planning and process engineering robotics.
