Music Pedagogy – Classical Music

In our stylistically broad Master in Music Pedagogy – Classical Music programme, we offer arts-and education-based training for prospective music teachers, with a focus on classical music.

This degree programme:

  • is aimed at students who have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Music and have advanced artistic skills;

  • aims to reinforce and expand your teaching skills with practical and theory-based courses;

  • offers one-to-one instruction in a core subject (instrument or voice) and individual support from our internationally renowned teaching staff;

  • allows you to tailor your studies to your needs, interests, and strengths through the choice of elective modules, as well as the choice of a minor subject, and to benefit from a wide range of chamber music and orchestral projects, band ensembles and transdisciplinary formats;

  • offers you the opportunity to network with future employers through work placements and job shadowing.
